Reply to Stop Pqying for Courses. Do This Instead
I read an article on medium in which someone was telling people do not invest in courses and then I wrote the response below…
Do not need to listen this kind of preachers against courses because there are so many reliable experienced freelancers sharing their experiences through online courses to help their students grows in minimum possible time.
Just like in my case, I create crash courses and sell them on Udemy marketplace so I do not agree with this person regarding not to spend on courses because he does not know the difference between traditional course and between a transformational result oriented training.
For example, I create practical courses and I demonstrate what I am doing so my students can see what I am doing and then learn by doing and replicating it and then they get the result which I am showing them how I did get!
Does it make sense than traditional courses where you study the theories and listen boring lectures and then you have no idea what to do in your practical freelancing career?
If it does not make any sense to you then obviously you should not purchase any course because if you cannot even understand the text written then how can you understand the video?
But obviously, this is the difference between just telling something and showing something and when you get enrolled in my crash courses you see something which I am doing so you understand it by observation which is why my crash courses are mostly for those who learn through observation and want to learn very fast!!!
Not everyone can become my student especially those who love to go deep down for theories and advance technical knowledge, rather those who don't care about much theory and they want to know how to do something quickly and get it done!
Because in practical freelancing world, clients are looking for the results and they want to pay for it. They don't want to know about your degrees, certifications and list of experiences except your confidence in giving them their desired result.
Do you see the difference when an experienced freelancer is speaking and a typical teacher is speaking without having practical knowledge of the business?
Go invest in courses when you know about the trainer and his credibility in the world of freelancing business or any industry regarding which you want to grow yourself.
If you will learn freelancing from a doctor who never did freelancing online obviously he is not reliable to teach you about freelancing, same goes to any other person!
I have sold my freelance services and I have sold physical products and also digital products and I know what I am talking about. It does not matter how many people do agree with me, I own my opinion, not their way of thinking against my words and my thinking.
